    Join the National Health Council (NHC) for a special briefing on Friday, March 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Capital Hilton, 1001 16th Street NW, Washington, DC, to hear the results of a national study on people living with chronic diseases and disabilities, their experiences purchasing health insurance through the exchanges, and what changes they want in the marketplace to help them find insurance plans that meet their budget and health needs.

    At this event, we will

    • Unveil the results of a national study conducted by Lake Research Partners based on focus groups and a survey of people with chronic conditions enrolled in exchange plans;
    • Hear from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight how the recently released 2016 Marketplace Benefit and Payment Parameters address patient concerns; and
    • Release a series of state-by-state progress reports produced by NHC and Avalere Health analyzing how the states are enhancing the exchanges.

    Registration will be closed when we reach capacity.

    Detailed information, including an agenda, will be sent to registered attendees and posted on the NHC website closer to the day of the event.
