Dr. Tanisha Carino Joins 2019 National Health Council Board of Directors

Washington, DC — June 20, 2019 — Tanisha Carino, PhD, Executive Director of FasterCures at the Milken Institute, was elected to the National Health Council (NHC) Board of Directors at the organization’s quarterly Board meeting on June 11.

Dr. Carino has more than two decades of experience in academia, government, and the private sector, including her work in the Medicare program to improve access for its beneficiaries and support the development of real-world evidence. She fills what was a vacant position on the NHC Board, joining 19 leaders of patient advocacy groups and representatives of association, provider, payer, generic, and biopharmaceutical organizations.
