Meeting for Health Information Exchange InitiativesStarting at 9:00 am  Ending at 5:00 pm

Since 2001, the eHealth Initiative (eHI) has been the predominant voice and resource for health information exchanges across the country. The eHealth Initiative's National Forum on Health Information Exchange will convene health IT coordinators and health information exchanges from dozens of states to discuss the challenges and strategies related to operating a sustainable health information exchange.  During the event, the eHealth Initiative will release the much anticipated results of the eHI 7th Annual Survey of Health Information Exchange. Experts and HIE leaders from the field will be on hand to engage in interactive discussions surrounding the findings.

Because the eHealth Initiative is committed to the success of health information exchange, HIEs are encouraged to attend this event free of charge (in exchange for their participation in the 2010 Health Information Exchange Survey). If you are a health information exchange, you do NOT want to miss this unique opportunity to share and learn from your peers. Space is limited, so register today. Topics to be covered include:

•Getting Started: What to Do First
•Sustainability: What Works, Where it Works and Can You Do It
•Understanding Quality Measurement
•Getting to Meaningful Use
•Large-scale Implementation Strategies
•Inter-state Coordination
•Understanding and Connecting to the NHIN
•Engaging Consumers in HIE
•Measuring Your Progress: What Really Matters
