Controlling costs associated with health care cannot come at the expense of quality care. We can save money through better use of technology to reduce administrative costs and medical errors, and by promoting awareness and prevention of chronic diseases and obesity.
Funds for Wellness and Prevention
More than 160 organizations, including the National Health Council, urged the House and Senate to support funds for prevention and wellness programs in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
