The Amputee Coalition is the nation's leading nonprofit organization on limb loss, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for amputees and their families, improving patient care and preventing limb loss. The organization serves the more than 2 million people with limb loss and more than 28 million people at risk for amputation in this country.
Our Mission: To reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.
